Pepticosma / Copper peptide serum OEM

Copper peptide · GHK-Cu · OEM / ODM

Blue copper-peptide serums, made for your brand.

GHK-Cu is the break-out cosmetic peptide — and the hardest to keep stable. We formulate, fill and package finished copper-peptide serums under private label, engineered to stay potent through shelf life.

What is GHK-Cu?

GHK-Cu — INCI name Copper Tripeptide-1 — is a copper-bound tripeptide, the amino-acid sequence glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine (Gly-His-Lys) complexed with a copper(II) ion. Naturally present in human plasma, it is used in cosmetics as a signal peptide and gives formulations their characteristic blue tint.

In finished skincare, copper-peptide serums are marketed for the appearance of firmer, smoother and more even-looking skin. It has become one of the most searched-for cosmetic peptides, anchored by prestige and mass brands alike — which is exactly why it is a strong hero product for a new or growing skincare line.

Formulation note

Copper peptide is potent but fragile. A copper-peptide serum is only as good as its stability — and stability is a manufacturing problem, not a marketing one.

Why copper peptide is hard to formulate

Three documented failure modes make GHK-Cu one of the trickiest actives in cosmetics — and separate a serious manufacturer from a filler:

  • Chelator conflict. Common chelators such as EDTA have a higher affinity for copper than the peptide does, and can pull the copper out of the complex — quietly inactivating the active.
  • Light & oxidation. The complex degrades under light and with certain preservative systems, so packaging and preservative choice directly affect shelf-life potency.
  • pH & compatibility. Copper ions catalyse the oxidation of actives like vitamin C, so formulation and layering guidance matter for a stable, sellable product.

Our approach: chelator-aware formulation, controlled pH, oxidation-resistant preservative systems and airless or opaque packaging — with batch documentation to verify potency. This is the core competency behind our copper-peptide line.

What is GHK-Cu?

GHK-Cu (INCI: Copper Tripeptide-1) is a copper-bound tripeptide — glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine complexed with a copper ion. In cosmetics it is used in serums and creams marketed for firmer, smoother, more even-looking skin, and gives formulations a blue tint.

Can you manufacture under our brand?

Yes — we are an OEM/ODM manufacturer of finished copper-peptide serums. We formulate, compound, fill and package under your private label, from a stock base or a custom concentration.

How do you keep it stable?

We avoid copper-stripping chelators like EDTA, control pH, use oxidation-resistant preservative systems, and package in airless or opaque containers. Potency is verified with batch documentation.

What documentation do we get?

Each lot ships with a batch-linked COA, HPLC chromatogram and MS identity record for the GHK-Cu active, with stability data on request.

What is the MOQ?

We support low-MOQ pilot batches through to full production. Exact MOQ, concentration, packaging and lead time are confirmed per enquiry.
